HOW DOES RESTORE WORK?

• Controls Estrogen:

-Ingredients responsible for controlling estrogen:

• 6 alpha- and 6 beta-Bromiodone- Two analogs of 6-Bromodione, which shut down the aromatase enzyme.  This prevents the conversion of testosterone into estrogen.   Like a major one-two punch, one analog stops excess estrogen from forming while the other acts like a men only bouncer shuttling estrogen from the body.  Controlling estrogen is more than half the battle in terms of optimizing the male hormonal environment.

• Inhibits Prolactin:

-Ingredient responsible for inhibiting prolactin:

• Prolact-X (Proprietary Diterpine Matrix from Chasteberry Extract)-    

-The amino acid, dopamine is the natural controller of prolactin secretion in the body.  There are several specific compounds found to have dopaminergic properties contained in the Chasteberry herb.  Specific components, diterpines, exhibit prolactin-suppressive effects.  Some studies suggest that they are almost even more effective than dopamine itself. 

• Increases Free Testosterone:

• Free-T (Proprietary Pure Avenacosides Matrix)- The phytochemicals in Avena Sativa- Avenacosides A and B have been shown to free up bound (inactive) testosterone from Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG).  This causes an increase in the total amount of “free” (active) testosterone.  Free testosterone is the biologically active form of the male sex hormone.

• Inhibits Cortisol:

-Ingredient responsible for inhibiting cortisol:

• MbAET- This is the orally bio-available version of bAET (beta-androstenetriol), which is an analogue of DHEA.  This powerful chemical cousin of DHEA has been shown to inhibit the enzyme (11b-HSD-1) that activates the muscle scavenger hormone- cortisol.  By blocking this specific enzyme, MbAET thereby inhibits the activation of cortisol.  Less cortisol means less muscle breakdown, less fat storage and improved immune and cellular health.
