Pure L-Glutamine is a “conditionally essential” amino acid. Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in both the plasma (20%) and intracellular muscle tissue pools (60%). Glutamine plays many roles in our body that may directly or indirectly affect immune function, cellular recovery, protein synthesis, and muscle growth.
