Increase Lean Body Mass
Creatine monohydrate has long been the choice of bodybuilders and athletes as an ergogenic tool for increasing lean body mass and aiding strength through increased intramuscular water retention (the drawing of water and other nutrients into the cell, thereby ensuring the cell is hydrated.) Generally speaking, a well hydrated cell is an anabolic cell. While creatine monohydrate was wonderful for some, stomach cramping issues made it somewhat less than spectacular for others. In recent times, an ester of creatine (CEE) has been developed that confers all the magnificent benefits of creatine monohydrate without the stomach cramping. Additionally, the majority of CEE users have claimed that along with decreased bloat, CEE is significantly better than monohydrate for enhancing strength and building lean mass.
Increase Energy & Endurance
The goal for any pre-workout solution should be to deliver near-instant energy while also providing a lasting effect on endurance for the full duration of every sensibly timed and well planned workout. With these goals in mind, Glucuronolactone and L-Taurine are included in the XCEED formula to provide improved energy and increased cardiovascular stamina respectively. The true beauty of these two ingredients lies in the fact that there are no "peaks and troughs", after effects, or "comedowns" that one may suffer from other stimulating compounds or products. Furthermore, these inclusions allow all the benefits of rapid and long lasting energy without adding any unnecessary sugars - to make a long story short, XCEED provides considerable energy despite negligible caloric content.
Cell Volumization & "The Pump"
Nitric oxide (NO) induces vasodilatation, which promotes blood flow and leads to what users report as extreme muscle "pumps" during training. NO also increases glucose uptake, thereby promoting cell volumization, and amplifying the effect of "swollen" muscles. The addition of Di-Arginine Malate to XCEED provides a means to exploit the benefits of the NO precursor arginine with a longer lifespan than plain L-arginine found in more primitive pre-workout formulas. (Q) Why so few ingredients when other CEE products have many?
(A) We have included the relevant ingredients in doses that count. These are listed on the label so you know exactly what you are taking. There is no “proprietary blend” here. (Q) Looks good. Where can I buy it?
(A) Retailers will have it in stock well before the week commencing November 14th.
(Q) How many servings per tub?
(A) 45.
(Q) Is 45 servings per tub good value?
(A) If you train four times per week and, hypothetically, take XCEED before and after training, it will last you five weeks, so we’d say so yeah. Damn good value.
(Q) How many servings should I take before training?
(A) One serving (one scoop) should be sufficient for most users. If you are a typical creatine non-responder, take two.
(Q) Can I take this after training also?
(A) You can and should to help replenish phosphocreatine (PCr) stores, promote ATP synthesis and accelerate recovery.
(Q) How does XCEED taste?
(A) At standard dose, like lemonade. If you double-dose, it is a more powerful flavour, but nothing unpleasant - quite the contrary, in fact.
(Q) So it won’t taste as revolting as plain CEE?
(A) Nope, the lemon blast flavouring masks it quite nicely.
(Q) Does it mix well?
(A) As far as CEE formulas go, yeah it doesn’t mix too badly. There’ll likely be a few very small clumps at the bottom that may not completely dissolve, but simply stir as best as possible and drink.
(Q) If I was to double-dose XCEED, can I drink some pre-workout and the rest during the workout?
(A) Yes, you can. It is not necessary but that is certainly a good strategy to employ.
(Q) How many servings should I take each day?
(A) Depends how often you train each day, but generally one-to-two servings per day are all that is required.
(Q) Should I take XCEED on my off-days?
(A) It is not absolutely necessary, but it would certainly benefit cellular volumization and the overall anabolic nature of the product. If using XCEED for pre-workout benefit, there is no need to take on off-days.
(Q) Is it cool I stack stimulants with XCEED?
(A) The taurine and glucuronolactone will have mild stimulating effects already, so be careful with how much you stack, but in general, yes you can stack stimulants with the product.
(Q) Do you recommend stacking anything particular with XCEED?
(A) Yes, a combination of XCEED and BASIC CUTS 30-45 minutes before training forms what we call the “Pre-Workout Assault Strategy”. This combination will provide you with cellular volumization for strength, increase blood flow for training pumps and stimulation for sustained energy and focus while you train.
(Q) I am dieting. Will XCEED hinder my fat loss goals?
(A) No. Unlike some products that try and claim “zero calories” despite including several grams of amino acids (they have 4kcals per gram just like protein, remember), we will admit there are some calories in XCEED, however, given that we have no included unnecessary sugars, the calorie content is negligible. We would guess approximately 30kcals per serving. This will not hinder dieting.
(Q) I am lean bulking. Will XCEED make me fat?
(A) No, see above.
(Q) Does XCEED need to be cycled?
(A) Not absolutely no, but we generally recommend you cycle all supplements except for the staples (multivitamin, fish oil, protein powder and anti-oxidants), to get the best value for your money.
(Q) Do I need to do a loading phase?
(A) That is not necessary, no.
(Q) I have a medical condition and/or am on medication. Can I use XCEED?
