Epozine O2 Frequently Asked Questions
I notice that there are some similar ingredients in EPOZINE-O2™NT as in NITRIX®. What is the difference in these two products?
Contained within EPOZINE-O2™NT are a few similar ingredients that are also contained in NITRIX®; primarily ingredients that function as vasodilators. Both products are designed to help the body produce more nitric oxide, thus relaxing the blood vessels and allowing them to expand. However, this is where their similarities end. In addition to aiding in the dilation of blood vessels, EPOZINE-O2™NT has been designed to help maximize oxygen uptake and capacity and, more importantly, the delivery, or loading, of oxygen into muscle tissue. This loading of oxygen aids in one’s endurance, recovery from exercise and overall aerobic capacity. These processes are fortified by the increased production of erythropoietin, red blood cells and the compound known as 2,3-DPG (2,3-diphosphoglycerate). Additionally, EPOZINE-O2™NT contains a comprehensive blend of insulino-mimetic agents that aid in the regulation of insulin as well as increasing the delivery of nutrients to muscle tissue. Not only does this help to increase the fullness and vascularity of muscle tissue, it also lends a hand in preventing muscle degradation and promoting protein synthesis. Lastly, with the inclusion of Peak ATP® and Creatine Magnesium Chelate, ATP resynthesis is significantly increased, leading to greater strength, power and resistance to muscular fatigue.
I am not very familiar with red blood cells and erythropoietin. How do they help to increase my physical performance?
Erythropoietin (pronounced i-rith-roh-poi-i-tn) is a glycoprotein hormone produced by the kidneys that stimulates red blood cell production by stem cells in bone marrow. Decreased levels of oxygen in body tissue activate erythropoietin production. Erythropoietin also activates the production of hemoglobin, which is the portion of the RBC (red blood cells) that primarily carries oxygen to various tissues. The greater the amount of oxygen delivered to the muscles, the greater the enhanced physical performance. Enhanced oxygen delivery to the muscles decreases lactic acid production, and muscular fatigue, as well as increasing endurance, strength and recovery. Erythropoietin also has the potential to directly stimulate muscle growth and recovery by the promotion of STAT5, PI3-kinase/AKT, p70S6k and MRF (myogenic regulatory factor).
One of the highlights of EPOZINE-O2™NT is protein synthesis. How does that work?
EPOZINE-O2™NT contains a variety of novel and meticulously sourced ingredients designed to promote protein synthesis as well as offset muscle degradation (catabolism). One such compound is 6-Methyluracil. 6-Methyluracil is a methylated group of the nucleotide uracil. It is involved in the synthesis and repair of RNA and DNA, which are responsible for protein synthesis in the body. Additionally, potassium has been added for its various roles in metabolism and body functions and is essential for the proper function of all cells, tissues, and organs. Potassium assists in the regulation of the acid-base balance, protein synthesis from amino acids, and carbohydrate metabolism, and it is necessary for the building of muscle and for normal body growth. On the side of prevention of muscle degradation, several nucleotides (Cytidine 5’monophosphate, Uridine 5’monophosphate, Guanosine 5’ monophosphate, Adenosine 5’ monophosphate, Inosine 5’ monophosphate) have been incorporated into EPOZINE-O2™NT. These nucleotides are a group of compounds that consist of nucleosides and phosphates, which provide the building materials for the formation of the nucleic acids DNA and RNA. Oral nucleotide supplementation has been shown to regulate the catabolic stress hormone cortisol in athletes, helping offset the harmful degradation effects it exhibits on lean muscle tissue.
CELLMASS®NT contains quite a few forms of glutamine, and the EPOZINE-O2™NT label says to limit my consumption of glutamine. There are times in the day when my servings of CELLMASS®NT and EPOZINE-O2™NT coincide; can I take them together, or do I have to wait a certain amount of time?
When taking EPOZINE-O2™NT you are able to take your serving of CELLMASS®NT at the exact same time. The form of the amino acid glutamine that the label refers to is its free form state. An amino acid is typically one portion of a chain of amino acids that make up a protein. This peptide bonding gives the amino acids strength and stability. By isolating an amino acid, returning it to its free form state, it may lose some stability, and thus not absorb fully and efficiently. In the case of glutamine, unabsorbed glutamine converts to ammonia gas, which has been found to inhibit nitric oxide production. With CELLMASS®NT, we have given the many novel forms of glutamine stability by bonding them to compounds such as Alpha-Aminobutyric Acid and Alanine, as well as peptide bonding the glutamine. So the glutamine in CELLMASS®NT is stable, lending itself to muscle recovery, and not hindering nitric oxide production.
